Club Car 1998 ??
I am looking at two used Club Car (both need batteries ) in the $1000 price range . I think they are both 1998 ,or 1999 but one is a 36 v system and one is a 48 v. Which one would be a better cart for me . I plan on driving me and the kids around the neighborhood . Thank You . Richard

Re: Club Car 1998 ??
Stock.....those two carts will run about the same. What age and condition are the batteries? Any difference in seats, tops, tires? We don't have much info here in your first post.......How about some pics. I never judge a cart until I can see a pic then I know 1/2 the story

Re: Club Car 1998 ??
Thanks Scotty for the reply . The batteries in both cart need replacing . I was just courious why Club car would have a 36v and 48 v model both of he same year . If they are both the same why did they do that .One must have an advantange or disadvantage to the other .Both cars are in good shape .Stock looking with tops .Will the 48v go faster ? Thanks Richard

Re: Club Car 1998 ??
personally i would but the 36v given similar conditions. then I would convert that cart to 48v. it will do better on 48 and give more top speed and torque.
given that both were to stay stock, i don't think it would make a differance. they both will have about the same speed adn such fromt eh factory. but again condition has a lot to do with it. just my .02 -Aaron |

Yes...stock, both carts will run about the same mph.....golf course regulations, you know? Now let's back up a bit.....What do intend to use the cart for and what are your expectations speed and ability wise?
