Default Re: Runs for a second...

Are there any thoughts on the bypassed Solenoid being the cause of the limp mode activation?

The limp mode has not been a factor until I bypassed the Solenoid which obviously has failed as the cart at least moves now.

I probably blew the $400 on the extra set of batteries but I had just replaced three of the 8v anyway so....

I hate fixing things by just swapping hundred dollar parts until the "whalla" moment.

Thanks again

Doug

Just checking again.

Will be sending it to the shop if necessary.

Thanks

Well, today I needed to use the cart and it attained full speed... For a bit. Then after stopping for a few minutes it went back to limp mode.
That tells me that bypassing the Solenoid temporarily does not affect the speed controller? There has to be a short or something that causes the now intermittent limp mode activation.

What can I check?
