Default What size lift and what kind of lift???

Hi folks, I just picked up a 02 cc 48volt with high speed motor. It is sitting at stock height and I absolutely can't continue to keep it there. I know there is a search option on here however it doesn't work on my phone.. I am wanting to go up to a 24" tire maybe 25". Question I have is what would be the best size lift to get the tires to fit? Also what manufacture do you folks recommend with out breaking the bank.. I saw a b.u. 8" lift online bit not too sure about it. Not many reviews on it that I can find. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I put a buggies 6" lift on mine not happy with it made in china with metric type bolt's and and bushings not mated together but for the price would prefer American Made next time gonna try Jake's Good luck to ya .

I have one of the cheap lifts; with some modification they can be made nice(r), but if you want a nice kit right out of the box, I would go with an Allsports Super Sport. They are the brand of lift that is Club Car approved for factory lifts.

I'm a bit partial to the madjax kit myself. I'm not at all fond of the Jake's stuff, I've found quite a few of them with major issues I had to replace most all the parts on. I have also used the chinese kits with good success. I have not used the Allsports kits, however I know that Tahoe only sells good stuff so I wouldn't have an issue using them

Just an idea, when you talk to David, give him the part numbers off of the motor to make sure it has enough torque to pull that diameter tire, high speed = less torque,...

I almost mentioned that myself. I had a lifted EZGO with a speed motor and boy did she suck uphill from a dead stop with a couple people on it
