1998 club car regen braking issue
When my buddy said he was using my cart that the regen braking was sometimes a lot harder than other times , Also when sitting still with key on and the cart in the run position sometimes the solenoid will click and the battery light will blink on and off while your sitting still.

Re: 1998 club car regen braking issue
I'll try,
If you are on a hill, slope and just release the brake and let the cart roll that is roll away braking and is stronger than regen braking. Also the light will come on I think. He could have been mashing the pedal a little without realizing it. Take your cart out and try to get it to do like he said and see what it takes for it to act that way. If the pedal is not being pressed it could be the time out feature of the controller that makes the solenoid click. See what you can get it to do, then let us know. |
