Exclamation 2008 club car precedent

I have a 2008 Precedent, it is giving a HPD code. I have changed the MCOR, controller, solenoid and motor. None have helped. Any suggestions? HELP, HELP, HELP:

HPD is a condition, not a problem. Is it in the history or present fault menu?

HPD means High Pedal Detect. This means that the controller is sensing throttle signal as if the accelerator is depressed when you turn the key on and put it in gear. It won't run if it detects a certain throttle percentage, 15% I believe. The vehicle wants to detect zero throttle when you turn on the key and put it in forward or reverse. Check the monitor menu of your handheld scanner and see what the throttle percentage says while the vehicle is resting with the key on. If it's an Excel vehicle, you may have a failure in one of the diodes in the wire harness. There are three 461 ohm in the wiring. One on each of the three throttle wires. If they're out of range, it could cause this. You haven't changed the controller have you? An IQ controller on an Excel car, or vice versa can cause throttle issues as well. Let's start with the serial number and we'll go from there.

SERIAL # IS PQ0830-934065

Yes, I have changed the controller and put on that is exactly the same.
Where are the diodes you are talking about?

You have the IQ system. There are no diodes in the throttle wires. That only applies to the Excel system. If you put a black controller with a model number prefix of 1510 you should be good to go. What does the throttle percentage readout say on the screen when the pedal is fully released?

HPD is present is almost every single cart that I check the codes on.....at some point someone always has their foot on the gas when they turn the key on. I believe I recall an option in the curtis handheld to disable that function?

You're thinking of AllTrax. Curtis won't let you turn it off.

Assuming all the parts You replaced are working, one of the things that would cause the MCOR to continuously send a "pedal down" signal to the controller is the loss of the negative on the purple wire.

Disconnect the 3-pin connector from the MCOR and measure the voltage from pack positive to the purple wire on the 3-pin connector, You should have +48v.

The throttle percentage reading TahoeDawg asked would reveal the same issue if it exists.

David I'm running the OEM level unit, 1313-4401. I'm pretty sure the option is there, but I'll double check that tomorrow.
