Charger is a 17930. I did the bypass grey to battery pack negative and viola, the charger.., er, well, chargered. I have priced OBCs and they are prohibitively expensive. I want to use the battery indicator light on the dash, is there a way to jump that into the pack or does it get it's information from the OBC?

What charger could I purchase to charge the cart without the OBC? I am looking for a smart, automatic charger that does not need the bypass. I imagine purchasing a $250 OBC and having it burn out.

A DPI would be the way to go for an automatic charger. They also have a float mode that maintains the batteries. Unfortunately the indicator light is connected to the OBC, but you can install a digital SOC meter which is much more accurate anyway.
