Brake pressure
I've noticed that on my CC I seem to have to put a lot of pressure on the brake pedal to stop. Slight pressure will slow the cart but if I need to come to a complete stop I need to put a lot of pressure on the pedal. Is this normal? If not how do I adjust it?

Re: Brake pressure
Normal for big tires. Brakes were for smaller tires. Cleaning them by pulling wheels and drums may help some, brake shoes don't work as good as they did in the old days. Different materials.

Re: Brake pressure
Pop your wheels and hubs off and see how much pad is left.

Re: Brake pressure
Take the brake shoes off. Lubricate the sliding mechanism at the bottom of the brake cluster. It needs to be free enough to slide in it's full range by hand. Any extra effort than a simple push and pull with your fingers is too much resistance. Make sure they're completely free. Put the brake shoes back on. If the problem still exists, you may need to change your brake cables. 102022101 would be the correct brake cable for your 2004. You would need 2. If you need brake shoes, the part number for them is 101823201. Drums are 101791101.
