Default Issues with OBC on 2003 Club Car IQ

I have a 2003 IQ and everything has worked fine for years then suddenly it wouldn't charge. I tried 2 other chargers with same result. I had to resort to charging each battery independently. From my research my obc was bad. So finally i broke down and purchased a new one. After installing it, I plugged in charger and bam it worked. So I put everything back together and low and behold it won't move now. The solenoid will not engage. I reset the obc twice and even jumped out the solenoid and still nothing. This is very frustrating. Can anyone give me a suggestion. Certainly the new obc isn't bad!

Which OBC did you purchase? Do you happen to have the part number?

For test purposes, un-plug the six pin connector of the OBC. On the vehicle wire harness, locate the blue and red wires within the 6 pin connector that were plugged into the OBC. Use a small wire or paperclip to jump the red and blue wires together. This will allow the vehicle to run without the OBC in the system. If the vehicle runs with the jumper in place, the OBC is the reason it won't run. That's the reason I asked which OBC you installed. There are several different versions.

My original part # is 101909902 but when I messaged dealer he said AM 1229201 superseded the old obc so that's what he sold me. I will try your test tomorrow. Thanks so much for the help.

Also I meant to say when I turn the switch on the solenoid will click on then click off after about 2 secs.

If the solenoid clicks right after the key is turned ON, you have bigger problems.

If the solenoid clicks ON after the pedal is pressed (and then OFF), You may have accidentally disconnected one of the controller spade connectors for F1 or F2.

This is fine. It's actually an old Regen 2 computer, but it's compatible with IQ cars and was used on some of the early ones. That's not gonna cause an issue for you. FYI, the correct OBC is 103359401... Try the test and let me know what you find. Do you have the original Curtis controller?

I will try the test when I get home and no it's not the original controller. I believe I have a 600 amp Atrex or something. I'll verify that also and let u know.

Alltrax has their own software that you can use for diagnosing issues. It's a free download on their site and I believe you can purchase the cable at Radio Shack. Someone who knows more about Alltrax will be on here momentarily to confirm. I'm sorry, but my experience is primarily with the Curtis factory controllers.

Ok, I'll look into diagnoses software.
Thanks again.
