89 CC 36v not going

I was driving my lifted cart in snow the other day when it got stuck and in the process of extricating it from the berm, we roasted the V-glide. I replaced with new one and now I get nothing from it, no reverse buzzer which was buzzing before I replaced the V-glide. I think I may have switched the wires on the small switch inside the V-glide. I am going to check that I did not do that wrong. Hopefully that is it and we are back out in the snow pulling sleds. If not does anyone have any suggestions on where to go next? Thanks in advance. John

Go back to all the wires you removed and Verify you replaced correct, check for tightness. Check the fuse to insure you did not blow it while wiring . Then let us what U find (Listen for Solinoid click).

Welcome to the forum waterdog ! Maybe the heat was too much for the micro switch in the V-glide......With the cart on blocks, Pull both wires and hold them tightly together while depressing the with the other hand .... does it go? Yes = replace the switch. No= put the wires back on the switch, use a heavy cable type wire and jumper across the large terminals on the solenoid, press the gas ..... does it go? If not, is the key on? If so....yopu are gonna need a voltmeter to go any further.... Visually inspect the coils for breaks.

Well it seems that one of the wires on the micro switch was off. I reinstalled it and we are back in business. Now the problem seems to be Reverse is sloooooow. Is there an adjustment that can be done? I did not mess with the linkage to the gas pedal. The wiper went all way up to top and back down when I installed. Thanks for the quick responses. The cart was originally wired for half voltage in reverse.....how was it before? There is a way to connect all 36v to the reverse but I am curious how it was before the snow berm incident?
CC 36v F&R

Originally full power for forward connects to the bottom terminal on the right (passenger side).
18 volts connects to the left terminal.......by connecting the two terminals and the full power cable... you have full power F&R...... Good luck.
