Default Charger rebuild. Obc questions.

Hey guys. I have had a DS that I have slowly been tinkering with. I put off messing until I could start at square one. And in my opinion that was the charger.

I replaced the heat sink, breaker, and the relay. The charger seems to be working properly. Plug in charger, relay closes and begins to charge. If this all happens, would that mean the obc is good or is there more to the obc than just controlling the charger.

Batteries are at 49 and when I put it into F nothing. When I put it into R. Buzzer sounds and the battery light comes on. It's on charger now to bring up to full and I want to confirm it shuts off when full.

Default Re: Charger rebuild. Obc questions.

Obc is really just for charging. It can do some type of lockout so u can pm sergio or he may just see this and jump in. After full and still does it then try resetting obc from the stickies and see if that helps.
you need to let the charger shut off on its own and see it drops to zero amps. You may see voltage but under load the batteries have no power.
if all is good with batteries, then it could be micros, mcor, solenoid, controller, f&r, or cables that has the issue.
you should post model and year for the really good techies to help you.
