No go... again
Hey guys with a lot of help on here I totally rebuilt my 85 Club Car about a year ago, its been running perfect until... the pos. term. on the f/r switch came loose and cooked the wires on that post.. pos. to the bat., pos. to the fuse(did not trip fuse) and pos. to the speed controller. I repaired all wires, but no go.
Question is did I fry the speed controller or f/r switch, all the selniods are clicking but the first one not as loud. |

Re: No go... again
1st solenoid not loud is not a problem ... it supply's power to the other solenoids
all solenoids clicking is good, means the speed box is not fried i would look in to the f/r switch not making good contact if it is shot you can get an updated one from scottyb, they dont sell the old style anymore |

Re: No go... again
I found the old f/r switch and cleaned it up, I'll switch it out hopefully tomorrow, rechecked all the connections and there all tight.

Re: No go... again
Been having some back issues didn't get out to the shed until today. I tugged wiggled and jiggled all the wires nothing. Checked the voltage as follows; battery bank 37.4; pos. term. on f/r 37.4; at the fuse 37.4; white wire on f/r 37.4 in forward; black wire on f/r 0.2 in forward; red wire on f/r switch to motor 0.2 in forward. sure hope your not going to tell me its the motor.
