If you attached the blue and green wire, on the same screw/ terminal, that might be why your solenoid is closing all the time?

This would only bypass the keyswitch. It would still operate normally, but it would always sense the keyswitch as "ON"

To get me through this past weekend, I put the ground on a toggle switch. So I would get on the cart, turn on the key switch and the toggle switch and run. It was crude, but it got me through the weekend so I could finish hunting

Yeah. Saturday is opening day. They'll go nocturnal on me and I'll never see any of them.

Thanks to David with Revolution Golf Cars, I've got all the necessary parts coming in to get the ol' cart up and rolling again. Thanks for all the help!

I noticed this while installing my new harness. The old harness went to this little black box, then to the mcor, where the new harness goes straight to yhe mcor. Is this gonna be an issue, or was this just some sort of junction box club car was using??? The new harness has the plugs with the orange ends on it, just no black box in line

Your 2009 cart originally came with a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), Club Car completely stopped using those in 2010 and had a factory recall to convert them to MCOR.

You don't need that adapter, it was only used on an IQ cart to allow an MCOR to connect to the original harness.
