Taking a break from studying... The cart is a 83 if i remember correctly. It has 5 solenoids and a coil thing. How much do u think i can find those three parts for rough est low end and high end? Also When i got my cart it was totally disassembeled. I am not sure i put the gear box and bracket in properly? Do you have any pics or diagrams? And I want to put my factory leather denali steering wheel on the cart will any of those adapters on ebay work? Do u ur self have a preferred sponsor to buy from ? I like to buy from people who will help and that have good repore with others that are knowledgeable like your self. Thanks in advance.

I can tell you roughly......
Logisystems has a 480amp 48v controller on ebay $280? Some one yesterday was on here about Kelly ? controllers for less? Logisystems Customer service was good when I had a question and even swapped a controller for free when I bought the wrong one...I liked that. A Curtis pb-6 will vary, but around $160+. A good 48v White solenoid or comparable model $60 - 100 ? Sometimes my prices are off cause I have friends who get me stuff
Don't forget to add the costs of making your own good cables $100 and Batteries? Hope this helps

nickrov,
I don't know much, but do your homework before you buy anything. I was amazed at the differences in price for the same product. I'm all about supporting the site sponsors...and have, but a Curtis PB-6 (not the knock-off) can be had for a little more than half of what most places ask. Also there is a great deal of variation in motor prices. If you have a lot of money to spend then who cares, but if you're like me, you can save some by shopping around.

Nick, here is the diagram for your cart ....... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...e528185if2.jpg

Your cart didn't have a v-glide ..... best to put it back stock unless you have access to a V-glide and resistor coil set up but ..... really no sense upgrading unless you can all the way up (past the v-glide) to a solid state speed control system.....Good Luck!

What the heck is the red box? I have not seen this in any diagrams and also i dont have any of those microswitches on the left side of the diagram? Please i need to get this thing running by next weekend! Help scotty!
