So a recap what i have got done so far I have stripped the whole chasis bare cleaned with aluminum cleaner, striped all paint and painted battery racks with new paint tha matches chasis. I ordered new/ used glove boxes and center piece cause mine where cracked . I prepped those and the seat backs and dyed them grey. Seat brackets, seat handle and front cowl flat piece all sent out to be polished. The 4 in lift kit installed wheel adapters from 4 to 5 lug with 2 inch spacer built in as well. I put the ss column cover on. Now i am trying to deciede what to do, do i leave it 36v resistor cart or do i swap it over to 48v. Heres why i am thinking of 48v swap. My friend owns a battery shop and will swap out my 6 6v batterys for 6 8volts no charge. Any recomendations? All wires will be up graded to 4 gauge i have boxes of it. Help needed come on guys what do u think.

I say 48v ... how else are you gonna crank those monster meats ???
You will dig the old 36v motor on 48v. put your money into a controller and PB-6 .... This will be a very nice cart What year is it?

Trojan also makes a 12 Volt Golf Cart Battery.
6 x 12 = 72 Volts .
Just a thought, since you are talking upgrade and free Batteries ???
