This may sound silly, but when things like that happen the f/r switch gets bumped to neutral and the cart will not run. Just thinking out loud.

Wait if this is true then it could not be Colonel Mustard! It would point the finger right at Captain Obvious.

Will the speed sensor failure make the cart go slow because mine will do nothing.

The chain dragging sound may have been one of the brake cables that broke, You can easily check for that.

Since the reverse buzzer is sounding, the OBC lockout is not the issue.

The speed sensor push test will verify the controller can sense the pulses from the speed sensor and activate the motor field coil to prevent the cart from moving.

If that works (push test), try to by-pass the MCOR 2-pin connector, maybe the sudden release of the accelerator pedal (blaming the dog again) slammed the micro switch inside the MCOR causing it to fail.

You need to lift the floor mat, then just take off the "debris" plastic panel (#7 in the picture).

The MCOR has 2 connectors (#12 in the picture).

Remove the 2-pin connector by squeezing the tab on the connector and pulling it off the MCOR.

Get a large paper clip and jump the connector on the end of the harness.

Some 2009 precedents may still have a TPS throttle, if you don't see the 2 connectors (#12), take a picture of what you have and post it.

Test to see if the solenoid works.

Ok I did the push test and the car responded with the intermittent buzzer I then proceeded to the MCOR connector with the with the two wires one green one blue not the three wire connector with the yellow white and purple wires. I took a large paper clip and put an end in each hole of the connector on the harness I then turned the cart on and put it in reverse and nothing happened.

When you pushed the cart, did the dynamic brake engage and try to prevent the cart from moving while the buzzer was sounding?

If not, the F1 or F2 wires may be disconnected from the controller.
