Default Brand new to golf carts. Have a few ?'s

Hey guys, just picked up my first golf cart this weekend. A 99 club car DS. Its already been lifted and has 22x11x12 sahara's on it. Im guessing everything else is stock on the cart based on what the seller told me. My question is when going up hill more than a slight grade how much speed should i expect to lose ?

with a stock controller and lifted it could be as much as half depending hill.

With a lifted GC ideally the stock drive system is upgraded. It really isn't meant for that extra strain. That being said, I still have the stock electronics in my cart , but I was surprised that I didn't lose a whole lot speed/torque wise. I do plan on upgrading in the future however.

On level ground with bigger tires you will actually gain speed; the torque is what becomes the issue. The stock controller can't put out the amperage needed to maintain speed uphill.
