The resistor setup bolts to the terminals on the v-glide...no soldering. The drawback is it is a stepped system...there is no smooth throttle acceleration like the PB-6. The PB-6 is the most common throttle pot, you should be able to find one most places.

The diagram will probably be manufacture specific.....Did you buy one of the controllers Roady mentioned before they are gone?

Thanks for the welcome rusty!

Thought I'd post some pics of the project in case anyone is interested. Here is most of the stuff mocked up. Nothing left to buy now except batteries, charger, 0-5k pot, various resistors and diodes, battery cables, brake rotors............

I also managed to snag one of the $195 400 amp alltrax controllers, thanks for the recommendation.

just a thought but could just buy newer style v-glide and use old resistors coils????
