What is this buggy worth?
New here, looking to buy a buggy to hunt with and I don't mind upgrading a little here and there and am just curious if this buggy is worth buying. 2002 Club Car. Looks to have some sort of lift. Seller says 3 batteries are old, he bought two of them 14 months ago and one of them last month. Has is posted for $1,300. Is it worth that?

Re: What is this buggy worth?
Is that a metal plate holding down right next to the battery posts ?? Uh, that is baddddddd... I would say that price is a little steep but it all depends on where you are..

Yeah, it looks to be some type of metal holding the batteries down. I know it needs some work by looking at a few of the pictures. I think I will offer $1,000 and if he rejects it then that is fine.

Too much IMO. I would offer $500 assuming you are going to have to put at least that much into it.

Re: What is this buggy worth?
Points to take, you can replace the battery hold downs that should be easy. As a cardinal rule you always change the batteries in a complete set, I think you will forever be replacing batteries as long term they will not charge and last as a complete pack. That is something to read about later, you portably can stretch out the pack you have but don't spend more money replacing one at a time. This year cart you will probably have a few issues but that said it can be made to be as stout as you like over time and money lol. That said I'd consider paying more but probably call it quits at around 750$. Most likely the seller wrong go down that much, the cart is old and it will take some work to make it reliable to go back and fort to your hunt/stand etc. Just my opinion as others it has potential for the right price.

Re: What is this buggy worth?
I offered 1,000 earlier last night and haven't heard a peep from him. I assume he has declined it. So with this in question, would I be better off buying a newer cart and then slowly adding to it as I want instead of trying to purchase an older one that already has a lift/tires?
