I did pretty good on this one with my speculation that the voltage issue is originating in the controller aux power pin and they moved the diode from the Tow/Run to closer to that pin

I am wondering now if disconnecting the speed sensor prevented Regen from engaging or not...

I found and remove the diode in the gray wire (the diode tested good with my meter) and installed the drop in harness and same problem. On the test run when the cart quits there is 3 quick beeps, after that it will not beep again unless you cycle the key. If you let the cart sit with key on it will finally take off but does not beep???

That diode testing good was the equivalent of the drop-out harness.

Can You add a little more detail to the symptoms, perhaps that will help isolate or eliminate possible causes.

1) Is it time or distance traveled related? If You go slow (1/4 throttle), does it take longer for the problem to happen? If You go really fast (WOT), does the problem happen sooner?

2) When the cart quits, does it slow down with motor brake (Regen and/or Dynamic brake) or does it coast to a stop?

3) When it stops, if you put the FNR in reverse, does the buzzer make a sound? Does the cart work?

4) When it stops, if You do the push test, does the cart engage dynamic brake and the buzzer sounds?

5) If You have a non contact thermometer (like the laser pointer type), can you see if the motor or controller connections are hot when the problem happens?

Some of these answers may trigger other questions that will be more related to systems that better relate to those specific symptoms.

Sergio,

I spoke with him this morning. Further testing seems to have possibly damaged the MCOR. We are shipping him out a brand new MCOR4 conversion kit this morning. Hopefully that will fix the issue.

I cannot think of any one more qualified than You to help him find the problem, I just really enjoy the troubleshooting aspect and the cause/effect of some of these more unique (challenging) issues

Sergio,
1. Seems to be distance traveled Does not matter how you are accel
2. Slows down with brake system
3. Yes-the buzzer sounds, sometimes the cart will creep along for a bit and sometimes it will not go at all
4. yes
5. I do not have a thermometer, but have touch those connections and nothing feels even warm

I'm anxious to see how it behaves with the new MCOR4.
