no jump box will not work
you need to place a jumper between the two large posts on the solenoid
we will need to test activation wires

you said you got beep on solenoid large posts ?

I will test the solenoid again in a couple hours. When I place the jumper between the two large post is it to connect them? do I use one black and one red? do I connect the other end to anything?

Tech tip .... no 'jumper' is needed if you just bolt both cables on the same post to bypass the solenoid.

Ok I checked the solenoid and it does NOT beep. Maybe I was thinking of the old one... Do I still need to jump it??
