2001 club car DS no reverse power
ok, working on another project cart for a relative who bought a 2001 club car DS 36volt resistor coil cart with new batteries and installed a 36volt purple motor. issue (1) 4guage battery cables getting real hot and motor cables getting hot. vglide cables normal. (2) no power in reverse ? thanks for any advise.

Eliminate 1/2 power reverse.
Use a copper bar to connect the 2 F&R bottom tab terminals and remove the cable that went from bottom of F&R to the MIDDLE of the battery pack. |

thanx Scottyb, what about the cables heating up when just traveling around. I should have mentioned that this cart is standard with no lift
