Battery Light

Can anyone tell me how to test the battery light on a 48 volt system. It looks like the bulb (or whatever) is burnt out. Should it light up when I turn on the key?

You can use either 16v or 12v for testing, but remember that one side is already connected to +48v (battery #1), so You need to connect the brown wire that normally goes to the OBC to either the negative of Battery #1 (12v batteries) or negative of Battery #2 (8v batteries).
