Default club cars been running perfect.......now it.

It wants to go in forward and reverse just won't go, moves just a touch in both directions. Now today..Heres what happened i charged it up all but a little bit that the needle didn't go back to zero. It tore out of my garage, then suddenly slowed down and stopped. Wait a couple ,and the cart wants to move, it just won't do it. Today i charged it up to full capacity cept for a couple marks above the zero, mark. Went out of the garage full tilt. i kept trying to push the foot feed. And this time i got an explosion ( with the cart)and this isn't a gas cart! and it won't move again. It basically goes a short distance then in winds down fast, and stops! Any help or ideas on this, is really appreciated. My cart has the Alpha batteries since last year has been running good. ps the battery cables were all removed and cleaned and reinstalled each battery is 12 volt and deep cell

Why do you keep charging it all up except for a little bit ?.I say leave it on the charger until the charger shuts off or your going to ruin your batteries, unless i'm reading your post wrong.

Let's start with the explosion...
What did it sound like, what do you see under the seat? Anything blatantly obvious under there?

Like your signature jake. THE Explosion sounded like a backfire, but that being impossible. Soon as the electric drill gets charged up, i will take the access cover off. Seems like there should be a black mark ..burned mark, somewhere.don't know. Its just been performing flawlessly."yamahaman' the charger needle just stops there all the time anymore . It did shut off at zero before his trouble started .it has to be something .not to serious. It does want to go! after you wait few minutes,Its just like the batteries are used up in 50 feet. Which common sense says, that isn't the trouble or possible., All 4 batteries shows 12.6 volt average on each of them disconnected.when i cleaned up all the terminals any ideas bob s

A battery could've blown. I've never experienced it first hand, but I've heard it's loud when it happens.

It was really quite loud . But all the batteries.are intact, nothing on the floor leaking from them, but yeah... I have heard auto batteries blow up, this noise DID sound like that . But.... the battery check showed a steady 12 volts acrossed the pack. One of them did show 13.4 volts earlier as opposed to the other 3 showing just above 12.2 volts bob

A capacitor makes a loud noise when it blows. Converter? Controller?
