Default 1982 club car ds really weak.

I have a 1982 club car DS. Vin#-A82... just put all new batteries and all new wires. 6" lift kit. 22 tires. All solenoids. It goes fine on flat ground but falls on it face going up a small hill and even in thick grass ( almost to stop ) everything looks good. I know it should have more power than it does it don't just get up and go it takes time to get up to speed. Any suggestions?

don't think that cart was designed for that kind of setup...

This is the cart in question. It seems to be fine around the neighborhood but if I jump from side walk to grass it boggs way down to a crawl and I do mean a crawl. So should I sell this and start with a newer cart? 48volt?

Make sure the first Solenoid on the passenger side that is connected to the FNR switch is working.

Aside for a bad connection, which would also get hot, that solenoid not engaging, and that last coil getting pretty hot, there is no other current limitation for the motor on that setup.

Here is the wiring diagram.

you have 1950's electronics trying to pull 2015 upgrades
2 choices with that cart
upgrade to modern electronics
convert to 48v

both have there advantages and draw backs
price is the first thing , you have a good looking cart
if it was mine i'd upgrade electronics

Ok . update I have been on other carts same setup as mine and it was fine. I just noticed a few minutes ago took it for a 2-3 minute ride got back took seat off and burnt my hand pretty bad on resistor coil (1 closest to passenger side). And I just replaced that solenoid 4 days ago. I can literally stand in front of the cart and keep cart from moving. And if I hold it from moving coil resistor "spring" gets crazy hot and you can smell it. I have looked over the wiring but can't find anything wrong please help. It's so weak it won't make it up the driveway with my wife on it. I put small tires back on it and same issue.

your full speed solenoid is not engaging ( furthest on passenger side )
solenoid may be good and micro switch is bad
