Default Club Car CD Player

New here! Just bought a Club Car DS 2006, first cart I've ever owned. It runs great, I love it.

Has anyone installed a CD player in one of these things? I'd like to do it potentially.

Yes. It's not bad. Make sure you get a good quality dash or overhead console to mount it all in. You also need to get a 48 Volt to 12 Volt converter to make sure your CD player is drawing power equally from all batteries.

I'm in the process of doing mine right now, i got the madjax universal overhead mount with a $99 pioneer radio and 2 6.5" and 2 6x9 speaker set from walmart not marine but should be fine at this price. I went for the madjax overhead because of the maplights, just got it all together and plan on mounting it tomorrow with the 2 6x9's between the driver and rear seat so a total of 4 playing speakers. I however can't decide to wire it to the power reducer or to add an extra battery, I have the madjax genesis 300 rear seat that supposed to having a cooler soon, problem is I don't know how deep the cooler will be so I'm hesitant to slap a marine deep cycle back there because they're tall and I really don't know how low the cooler will be. otherwise seems easy enough, i'll add pics.

easiest thing to do is the Reducer/Regulator. In the end its probably best to run everything off of one. Lights too.

I installed a Kenwood CD player (blue tooth & usb) with 2 6" & 2 6x9's, plus added undercarriage led's and installed an extra battery in my bag well under my rear seat. I can run the stereo & lights for 18hours with no problems. Then charge for the next 6 & run another 18 hours the next day. Partying at rallies is how I know this. Lol!!
