LOw profile Batteries for the bagwell??

I have a a 2015 club car precedent with a madjax genesis 300 rear seat with the accommodations for the future cooler. I'm Installing a overhead radio console and currently running redhawk led stock lightkit with break and blinkers off a 20amp 48v to 12v reducer off the cart packs. I'm assuming adding a radio with 4 speakers will be too much(Am I wrong here?) and I really don't know how deep the cooler will be any suggestions?

12 volts X 20 amps is 240 watts. There is no way your light kit pulls more than 40-50 watts, probably less. So you have 200 watts to use for stereo, I have never seen a radio head unit pull its rated power, so you should be fine with your current voltage reducer.

Most head units are rated at around 25-50 watts per channel, in actual use a unit rated for four channels at 50 watts each will only draw 50-75 watts total.

I just got done hooking it all up to the reducer, good news is that everything runs great but the bad news is the strain on the battery, the distance i used to travel using 10% now takes me 20%, not sure I'm comfortable with that kind of drainage. As much as I despise the idea of the big battery in back i'm probably gonna have to suck it up and do it, hopefully the added weight of the battery doesn't run my battery down as well.

You might be able to fit 2 6v gc batteries in series to fit in the bagwell. Then you can run your stereo, leds, and disco ball all weekend without worry.
