2000.5 CC DS - Temporary setup to test DPI charger

I need to check out my dads charging issues and want to test my DPI charger on his 2000.5 DS. I've read several threads and it appears that the wiring changes based on year model.

What are the steps to wire the DPI charger and bypass the obc temporarily? If it works I'll get him a new one for Xmas but I don't want to make any permanent wiring changes if it doesn't.

for my 2000 Series DS i did this Thanks To Sergio

On the Series Cart (S/N: A00...), the OBC provided the negative side of the Solenoid activation circuit when the charger was not plugged.

You can just disconnect the "Yellow" wire from the Solenoid small post that goes to the OBC and tape it.

You then need to run a new wire (16 ga) from that Solenoid small post directly to pack negative or B-.

You also need to run the negative wire (10 ga) from the back of the charger receptacle directly to pack negative.

You can leave the sense "Grey" wire alone since it is not used by the DPI charger and it is not connected to anything inside their charger.

You just need to reverse that process later if You want to sell the cart with the original charger.

You only need to jump the black wire from the charge receptacle to negative of the battery pack

If all your looking to do is bypass the charging circuit in order to test a DPI charger this is indeed correct.... I've yet to get around to bypassing my OBC other than the charging circuit for over a year....
