Forward no go - rev good?
Rev buzzer sounds when pedal pushed in F ,N,R - it only moves in reverse. I have checked the FNR switch - good - batteries good. Any advice on MCOR or Controller ( Curtis 1510 250amp). This is in a custom stretched cart my mother-in-law has to take my wheelchair bound father-in-law around in. Being a stretched unit should I put a 350amp controller in it?

Re: Forward no go - rev good?
The fact that it has been stretched concerns me. Typically when they're stretched, the main wire harness has an extension harness added to it. Use a volt meter to make sure that the 48 volt signal is getting to the controller. With the meter set to 200 volts DC, put the black lead on the B- post of the controller. Locate the 16 pin connector plugged into the controller. Probe the brown wire of the 16 pin connector with the red lead of the multimeter. It should have 48 Volts to it when the vehicle is in forward. If you're getting 48 volts to it, the controller has failed. I would recommend replacing it with a 350 amp controller since it has added weight. I also recommend upgrading the cables to a heavier gauge for the same reason. A heavy duty solenoid should be installed as well.
