Steering wheel questions
I am tall 6' 3" so it's not an issue for me, but my wife is right at 5' and she would like to have the steering wheel a bit closer to her. Does anyone know if 1. putting on a new steering wheel with one of those adapters will move the steering wheel closer, or 2. does anyone make a tilt column?
TIA. |

Re: Steering wheel questions
Some of the older carts had adjustable seats or seat backs to address this problem

Re: Steering wheel questions
The old Melex had a squre tube sliding mount for the driver seat back. It was held in place with a thumb screw. So kids could slide it forward and drive. Just a thought.....

Re: Steering wheel questions
Ididit has a chrome tilt steering column.
Some adapters may help some to put a auto steering wheel on. http://www.ididitinc.com/cart_columns/cart_columns.htm |

Re: Steering wheel questions
Has anyone figured out a way to get the steering wheel off (and not destroy it) without having the special club car steering wheel puller?

Re: Steering wheel questions
Ok no response so now i have a different question, is there anyway to center the steering wheel on the club car so when I am driving down the road it's not turned to one side. This is pretty ease on a standard linkage system but I am not familiar enough with a rack and pinion system.
Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks anyway |
