No, no. No intrusion at all. Any advice is great. I was not familiar with arbor presses and when looking at them I am not sure how I would place the armature under the press to press the bearing on. I believe the press is not tall enough. Maybe they come in different sizes. So if I use a mallet I just need to be sure to only put force on the inner race closest to the shaft? Also those bearings are already packed with grease right, I don't need to grease it do I?

As far as I know the bearing is sealed and You should not apply any additional lubricant or grease.

The picture below shows what I mean by using an arbor press, Harbour Freight sells a similar "shop press" for around $100 (with super coupons).

The picture is just for illustration, You would have only the Armature shaft under the press, not the entire motor.

Great thank you so much for the advice. Yeah harbor freight has 25% off which makes it 100 bucks. When I was searching for arbor press this is what I cam across and got confused on how this would work. It was only the 1/2 ton. Thanks again for the help.
