Default controller

will a controller wear out or just go bad? someone told me that my controller was probably going bad because my golf cart speed wasnt up to par.(matches my golf game!!!!) Im sure this is in a thread somewhere in here, but Im not savy enough to find it. Thanks for help

But 99% of the time it's your batteries not your controller. Controllers don't often partially work. When they crap out they usually don't work at all.

It's more likely your batteries are wearing out. Controllers do not fail by reducing output. They can exhibit failure by going into temporary shut down or intermittent operation but reduced output is not the typical failure display.

If your golf game is going south then those new clubs you've been looking at might improve your game

I agree with the others that your batteries are probably the problem,have you checked the water in them lately ?.Check the date code but they are probably just getting old.

What is the date code on your batteries,I think they stamp them on the neg post.If it makes you feel better some of us are probably as old as you are or maybe older
