Default Cart goes by it self?

1989 CC with V Glide
36v. I just made it to 48v., just added anot her battery.
When I put in forward it goes by it self.
V guide was not returning all the way down, so i adjusted control arm but still goess by it self when put in fwd., any ideas to help? Thanks

Welded mains on solenoid,...?? maybe

If the solenoid welded itself at the increased voltage ,48v, did you expect it to unweld itself when you changed it back to 36v

I think that may be the problem.
I have conunity through the 2 main connections with batts. Disconnected.

Glad you found your problem,now you can buy a quality heavy duty solenoid that will take 48v if that's what you want to do with your cart now or eventually,good luck with it.

Buy your Solenoid here

Found one local, for 48v. Not sure if it's a upgraded one but for a 48v. Cart.
