I am not believing this story....

The first post You measured the voltage at the charger receptacle the same as pack voltage, that means You have already by-passed the OBC negative wire.

The model that uses the OBC does not have LEDs and it is not called Accusense.

Here are the two models, which one do You have?

Accusense Smart charger no OBC

Regular DPI charger to use with OBC

What is the Model # You said they gave DPI?

I have the accusense. I have bypassed the obc. I'm telling you what the dude at the shop told me. This is my first build, and have no other experience with golf carts.

I am guessing they know very little about Club Cars and are about to order the wrong charger for You.

The Accusense is the correct charger for Your cart with the OBC by-passed.

If their Club Car charger worked on Your cart it means You did not remove the "sense" wire, but there is no way the OBC could have controlled the current and it should have failed if they let it run long enough.

Ok what is the sense wire? If you are referring to the wire that goes through the obc to the controller, then it is by passed. As in there is no wire through it. The hole is vacant. I can stick my pinky in it. Nothing there. I can see through it. I'll tell them not to order the charger.

I think Sergio nailed it here - you better stop these guys before they screw this up!

Don't let them order a charger with no brain to work with the OBC.

Sense wire is the third gray wire connected to the charge receptacle with a fuse in line.

The sense wire is the gray wire that has a Yellow inline fuse holder like connector on the back of the charger receptacle.

The negative wire is the 10ga (not the 6ga through the OBC) that goes from the charger receptacle to pack negative.

I saw the video, how are you switching from forward to reverse?
