That changes which drive system would have been in the car. Now seeing the serial number and determining that it's a 2000, that means that it should have a Series drive system. If it was an 05, it would have had the IQ drive system. The two systems are completely different and knowing the exact year aids in the troubleshooting process

Great. So, what do you recommend for trouble shooting. BTW, when pedal depressed it is no longer making a "click".

First off, your cart should have the lever style F-R control (rather than a toggle switch) and it should match this wiring diagram

Next step would be to make sure all of the connections throughout the cart are clean and tight

Thanks. This will take a couple days -- but yes that looks like my cart. Will get back asap. But, to lurch ahead, what would be the next step if everything is tight?

When you put the cart in Reverse, are you getting the buzzer?

If all connections are good, I'd pop the cover off the V-Glide (pie shaped throttle control on driver's side frame rail in between batteries) and make sure the sweeper arm is making good contact and the microswitch inside is being activated

In regards to the click, would you refer to it as the solenoid closing, or more of a mechanical sound, as in maybe inside motor or transaxle?

Although it has now stopped clicking, it did sound more like a solenoid.

Odd that it has stopped clicking if it indeed was the solenoid. Has the cart been charged since it stopped clicking?

Yes. Currently all batteries are at about 8.5 V. BTW only guessing it sounded like a solenoid. Could be wrong. As soon as it stops raining will check the V-Glide and get right back!
