Default Graziano axle tubes

I知 doing a little thinking here (always a dangerous thing) and I知 wondering if the axle tubes (and axles) on the Graziano rear on the DS are interchangeable.

If they are then I知 thinking that I壇 grab a passenger side one off a parts cart and install it on the driver side of my cart. It seems like it would be a pretty easy way to massively widen the rear. I知 imagining an open wheel rat rod look with huge rear wheels.

Would it work?

Obviously new spring perches would be needed, but that's easy.

Can anyone confirm that the axle and tube would fit?

Does not seem like it would not work.... You would need to re-center the axle which you stated. But do you have the room needed for the motor in the new location?

Do you plan to have the wheels outside the body? The brake cables will be another problem. I bet it would look good.

We run the Graziano rear ends in the dragster. As far as I can tell the tubes and axles should work on either side.

Since the wheels will no longer be in the wheel wells I'm assuming there would be plenty of room for the motor and pumpkin.

I'd like to get the wheels outside the body. I live 150 miles from the cart so I can't measure. Can somebody measure the lengths of the tubes and let me know if the hub faces will get outside the body?

Brake cables WOULD be a problem if the cart didn't already have hydraulic discs.

Thanks Terry.

10 extra inches isn't going to be enough to get the entire wheel outside the body. Somebody hand me a sawzall!!!!
