Cable Upgrade How big is too big?
Just bought my first cart today. Its a 2003 club cart ds 48v, I found a thread on what things I should do first and saw scottyb mention that you should start with a cable upgrade. I know most people say 4ga or 2ga. but I have some 3/0 (3alt) not 3ga. at the house from a boat project is this to big to use? any advice is great.

Welcome to BGW!
Electrically, the larger cables cannot hurt, but from a practical aspect larger cable does not bend easily and finding appropriate lugs to fit the batteries, solenoid, motor, and F/R switches can be difficult if not impossible. |
