Default 48v cart intermittently stops

Have had my cart at auto electrician and they have run all tests. Advised me to replace Curtis controller 1266-5201, which i have purchased through China. Would this be programmed to just fit? A the auto electrician said nothing happened. Asked him to replace old one so i could get it home but has now said he has found a further fault of a coil. Could this just of been the problem in the first place.
This was a Pan Pacific buggy and i cant find anything on it to help with age.

Pic of the cart? I'm thinking it's made by Club Car but I could be wrong being new at this. If it is there should be a serial number on the dash or in the glove box pocket somewhere. The serial number would start with a letter or letters followed by numbers. If you can find it post it here and that will help a lot.

yes controller could be bad
no this would not be programmed to "just fit"
yes solenoid (coil) could be bad
it could be the problem but ...
there are too many variables to determine whats wrong
as you have it at an " auto electrician " it is unknown as to whats been done
we would be glad to help when we can

do you mean a Panpacific Power Assisted Golf Cart ?
