Default wiring question

2012 Club Car Precedent. Under the dash there are 2 gray wires on the passenger side that have male/female connectors that were un plugged. Does anyone now what these are used for? Cart runs fine, just curious what these are for and wondering if I should plug them in. Just purchased the cart also. Thanks in advance for any info.

There was 2 wires there for a volt meter laying close to where the yellow light is on the other side of the dash. I did install a volt meter with those 2 wires. These could be also I guess but didn't check voltage to them when dash was out. They are the exact same color though, gray. Any other suggestions?

The 2 gray wires with bullet connectors is how You get switched +48v into the bucket harness 12-pin connector.

Sergio is correct. It's a switched 48V positive wire that is controlled via the keyswitch. It's used to turn the brake light relay on and off.

So mine is unplugged. Should it be plugged in. It does have the bullet connectors. I do not have brake lights but do have rear lights.

Your rear lights will only function if you have a brake light switch on the pedal and a relay installed behind the dash.

Do the turn signals also work with the brake lights are on? Just got done installing my deluxe light kit and while testing it, we get brake lights, turn signals, head light and flashers. But if you have the brake depressed, the turn signals (rear indicators) do not flash. wondering if that is by design or I put a flasher/relay on incorrectly.

On this particular kit, the installation directions are pretty crappy.
