wiring question
2012 Club Car Precedent. Under the dash there are 2 gray wires on the passenger side that have male/female connectors that were un plugged. Does anyone now what these are used for? Cart runs fine, just curious what these are for and wondering if I should plug them in. Just purchased the cart also. Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: wiring question
There was 2 wires there for a volt meter laying close to where the yellow light is on the other side of the dash. I did install a volt meter with those 2 wires. These could be also I guess but didn't check voltage to them when dash was out. They are the exact same color though, gray. Any other suggestions?

Re: wiring question
The 2 gray wires with bullet connectors is how You get switched +48v into the bucket harness 12-pin connector.

Re: wiring question
Sergio is correct. It's a switched 48V positive wire that is controlled via the keyswitch. It's used to turn the brake light relay on and off.

Re: wiring question
So mine is unplugged. Should it be plugged in. It does have the bullet connectors. I do not have brake lights but do have rear lights.

Re: wiring question
Your rear lights will only function if you have a brake light switch on the pedal and a relay installed behind the dash.

On this particular kit, the installation directions are pretty crappy. |
