Default Club Car F/R Control Switch Maintenance

Is there any maintenance required on the Club Car F/R reverse control switch? My cart is a DS upgraded to 700 AMP FSIP controller, heavy duty Scotty B solenoid, #2 welding cables throughout. I'm using the standard Club Car heavy duty switch.
Thanks!

Make sure the wires on the pivot points don't wear out and start to fray at the terminals. Spray WD-40 on the contacts from time to time to keep it operating smoothly. That's about it.

Thanks for the response - I have had to repair the ends from fraying as the switch moved back and forth it fatigued the copper wire strands. I know the copper standoffs that the cables attach to are suppose to rotate somewhat, correct? But how much should they rotate? Mine are pretty tight! When you say spray WD-40 (Water Displacement formula 40) on the contacts, what exactly do you mean? Thanks

Tight is not a problem. They're supposed to be snug, but they will rotate. Spray WD 40 on the four copper contacts on the back of the F&R switch where the connections are made with your pivoting contactors.
