Default My Buggy Build #1

So i picked up these two golf carts for $700. Both have batteries and chargers with them. One is a 48v (the greenie) and the other a 36v (old blue). I was told they were both running and all they needed was to be charged...har har... which would have been nice.

Both sets had pretty dead batteries, i had to charge them individually and then the chargers were finally able to kick on themselve!!! WHEW!!! And not only that but the green one actually runs!!!! the blue.. not so much.. the green one gets enough charge to ride it around the block a few times and then shes done. but hey, that is the easy one, batteries and good to go.

old blue needs a little more attention. batteries charge, but my tester says they are bad batteries. for giggles i hit the pedal.. she wants to go but doesnt. after pulling her apart for paint and what not, turns out the v glide broke off and the wiper arm melted.. boo. good thing is that there is a place about 30 mins from me that i can get the parts overnight! so i guess we see after i put them in what happens.

but enough of the ramble! check out the random progress pics. only old blue. greenie is staying as is for a bit.

its marine grade vinyl that i purchased at a local fabric store. it was like $8.99 a yard and i made the back rests and main cushion out of 1 yard of the red and 1 yard of the black.
