36vlt to 48vlt conversion
So when converting from 36volt to 48 volt system. Do I need to convert the fuse where the charger connection is? I believe this is a fuse here I just am not sure what size it needs to be. Thanks

I think that fuse will handle it but you should consider replacing the whole receptacle with the round 48v style. You will get a new fuse with it that will work for sure.

The 36v receptacle and the fuse are good for 36 and 48 volts. We have hundreds of customers using this set up for many years. |

Re: 36vlt to 48vlt conversion
I converted my 90 CC ds to 48v. I followed Scotty's advice. Didn't waste money on a new receptacle and it works like a charm. I got my DPI accusence charger from him and he put the correct end on for me. Make sure when you get the charger they know exactly what you have.

Yep, for sure listen to Scotty. He is the one who fixed me up too! I just remembered that I changed mine out when I upgraded. I don't remember why.

Re: 36vlt to 48vlt conversion
If the 36v receptacle is not burnt or damaged it will for sure accept 48v
