Turn Signals No Flash
Re doing my turn signals, now I can't get em to flash.
Bought new flasher, didn't solve problem. Got another, same thing. Straight wired to 12v battery, still no flash. Bypassed TS switch. Hooked 2 15 watt driving lights to it. 1 on L (load) and other on P (pilot). Yellow wire to +, black DL wire to - Connected to 12v, still no flash. This is an EM flasher, not thermal, I thought it would work no matter the load. I have a thermal flasher with the same results. What am I missing ? Thanks, Muddog |

Re: Turn Signals No Flash
You may be burning Your flashers....
The P terminal (Pilot) is to wire a dash indicator light (very low current). The flasher is installed before the turn signal switch, Power comes in the + side and it pulses on the L (Load side). Your turn signal switch then directs the pulsing power to either one or both turn signals lights. |

Re: Turn Signals No Flash
Got a different flasher.
Power, Negative and load Connected +, load and ran separate ground. It works. I know I have a good ground , because brake and running lights work. It's all one unit. |
