Krypty and crash, I was hoiping for some better help than myself on this one. I have had some '95 CCs but not the '97 shown. On my 95 the solenoid was mounted like the one in the pic marked 1 and 2 ... but I was confused by what looks like a second solenoid at 3 and 4........so we gotta hope Roady or someone else can help
97 CC

Perhaps we could get a couple more pics from different angles showing the same units in Q? The diagram shows only one here...??? And after further review the Pic still Shows 2 solenoids ??????

Scotty,

I think this may be an early Regen cart.. Looking in my '96 M&S manual, the solenoid terminals marked 1&2 are the master solenoid.. The other solenoid is the Regen solenoid.. My manual has a wiring schematic, but I don't have a way to scan & post it.. May have to wait for the shadowman to t-shoot this one..

Krypty,

Getting a factory service manual for this cart will be a good investment.. The troubleshooting section for the Powerdrive Plus (Regen) carts is over 30 pages.. Personally, I'd remove the solenoid from the cart to test.. The solenoid is operated thru the controller.. Jumping the wrong wire can zap the controller.. Hopefully, Tom (shadowman) will see this, he has more experience with Regen carts than I do..

Alrighty then!!!

Let's see if this works... I ran a copy of the 1996 Powerdrive Plus wiring diagram in my manual... Ran the copy back thru and enlarged it, then snapped a pic.. Hope it's readable...
