Default 2011 club car precedent problems

I have a 2011 club car precedent electric cart when driving if I floor it it will jerky and cut off then I have to let off then repress it to go. It also will jerk and cut off when coming up hill. It has new batteries and is fully charged.

Sounds like the classic symptoms of a failing MCOR. Very common problem. A 2011 should have been equipped with an MCOR2 from the factory. I recommend replacing it with an MCOR4. You'd need conversion kit number AM293001 to make this conversion.

MCOR = Motor Controller Output Regulator. It's essentially the throttle switch. It's located beneath the floor mat, attached to the side of the accelerator pedal linkage beneath the cart. It has a potentiometer, sort of like a dimmer switch knob for a light. The more pedal you give it, the more power it tells the controller to apply to the motor. When the contacts inside the MCOR get dirty, it begins to surge as you're describing. We sell lots of them.

I was having the same issues and ordered the MCOR 4 conversion from David at Revolution
What a difference it made to my 2009 President, runs the best since I have had the cart

It's in the "Stickys" above. There's a lot of good information along with P/Ns. There are even pictures to help you.

I have a 2011 Precedent with Gen 2 pedal assembly and ordered the MCOR2 to MCOR4 conversion kit from David at Revolution Golf Cars and the install was very easy and made a big difference, cart runs great now. Took maybe 10 minutes to install, David send directions with the conversion kit on how to do it
