92 club car electric golf cart wont move
I purchased a 92 club car electric golf cart. It will not run. I found A bad microswitch and replaced it. Two of my batteries were bad so for diagnostic purposes only I put 12 volt on the cart. If I get it running I will put 2 6 v on it. It is a 36 v cart. I had to make cables because the person who had it lost them. The voltage on all of the batteries are what they are supposed to be at but it will not run. The reverse buzzes but it still doesnt move. The solenoid doesn't make any noises. I jacked cart up and jumped solenoid but still nothing happened. I looked up wiring schematic online and the blue wire was in the wrong place so I moved it. Help I hope I didn't waste my money.

Re: 92 club car electric golf cart wont move
I have traced all of the wires and everything seems to be hooked up correctly. I had to reinstall the v glide because the previous owner had removed it but it shifts easily.

There is plenty of opportunity to make this cart yours! Think about the creation of your own cart. All issues can be resolved. It would be good to find a friends solenoid for the check. |

ok lets start with this solenoid not clicking
solenoid test Quote:
do a continuity test on the key switch if good then test the micro switch at the f/r switch if good then test micro switch in the v-glide then test continuity on all wires you say you jumped solenoid and no go check if f/r shiftier is making good contact |

Look at the detailed wiring of the V-Glide in the attached picture. Make sure the 2 white cables are on the same post on the outside, and the wiper arm wire inside the V-GLide is also on that same post. |

Re: 92 club car electric golf cart wont move
Thanks everyone. I found a red wire from fuse receptacle to v glide instead of fuse receptacle to forward reverse switch. I am waiting on batteries to charge to see if this was the problem. Thanks a million. Maybe I'll get lucky and that was the only problem.
