That is the switch for the brake lights. It should be up behind the brake pedal

Series drive systems are considered the workhorse drive system. It is not known for speed, but can produce a lot of torque. Problem is, the entire drive system needs to be upgraded to achieve such results. Cables, solenoid, controller, motor, F-R, etc.

As for the IQ (Sepex) system, it generally produces more speed and less torque than Series, in stock forms. But, you can slap on an Alltrax XCT controller, along with larger cables, and an upgraded solenoid for a decent boost in both speed and torque. No need to upgrade the rest of the system to do so, unlike Series

I personally would keep the IQ cart and upgrade it. Since you said you're not building a cart to climb trees, I think the IQ system would also be a good fit for you

Nick is spot on, hands down keep the IQ. Easier to upgrade and the modern aftermarket controls give them great torque and speed...

Series carts still make a good all around cart ... yes it may cost a little more but you can make a beast of a machine . i can climb a set of stairs and still pull low 30's on the flat .
