Default rear brake dust cover install

2008 Precedent electric. Stock brakes. I had a hard time getting the brake back plate dust covers off the cart. Impossible (for me !) to reinstall them. Ordered 2 after-market covers locally (Nivel catalog I think). They look a bit smaller than the ones I removed. Can't get them on either. It seems like the lip of the dust cover is wider than the groove they are supposed to fit in when installed.

Anyone have a trick on installing them?

#13 on your diagram. Flexible rubber seal.

In your pic it shows that there is a gasket between the shield and backing plate. On a 2008 Precedent there is no gasket.

Club Car part is 101850
