Default replacing battery cables

ok guys,

i've read about replacing the cables to help with battery life, and speed. So on my 2006 48v cc iq ds, I have one red cable (app. 40") and one black cable (app. 32") running to the box in the back. Along with (3) 15" interconnecting battery cables. If i replace these wires with 4 gauge new wires, I figure I need to replace the wires running to the motor also right?

Is this all that I need to replace? Just by crawling under the cart it looks like this black wire and red wire become a skinny blue wire and fat white wire to the motor, and also there's one or two wires I think I see going to the top of the motor.

I would think i should replace the skinny blue wire and fat white wire to the motor - are there any others should I replace?

need pics or is there a write-up about this already?

thanks guys

Replace all of the #6 wires that went to the DF&R and the 4 that go to the motor. If it was a #6 gauge before .... make it a #4 gauge now!

are you referring to the forward and reverse switch in your relpy?

you said - "Replace all of the #6 wires that went to the DF&R"

or is that the large black box that all the wires go into underneath the backseat?

You must forgive scottyb. You must also understand he is from SoCal. He equipped his CC with a Digital FNR.

He didn't want his CC to stop working on February 19th.
