The on-board computer could be stuck in lockout mode. It happens from time to time and it almost always has to be replaced when this happens. There are also many other possible scenarios. If you care to talk about it feel free to call me at 706-836-7210. I'll walk you through some troubleshooting.

It depends on the controller. Does it have a stock Curtis 250 amp controller in it? You may have to remove a cover to see it...

Also, to BGW

Ok, I believe it should have a resistor on the solenoid. I will send you a private message (PM) when you get the PM privileges. Now that you have three posts, you should be able to receive them.

Yes it should have a pre-charge resistor.

No. But a shorted controller can cause the resistor to heat up and become hot as fire, and possibly make somebody want to remove it. I'm thinking that's probably what happened. Locate the Onboard computer. It's directly under the tow/run switch and it has a 6 pin connector on the back of it that's plugged into the wire harness. Unplug the six pin connector and use a paperclip to jump the white wire to the blue wire within the wire harness connector. This will bypass the Onboard computer. If the vehicle operates you'll know that you need an onboard computer. If it doesn't we'll have to keep testing.
